 Kristie's Foundation in Anaheim helps critically ill children and their families in Orange and the surrounding counties. We have upcoming events where we need VOLUNTEERS but it's a good chance to get the Local out in the public and time at events with lots of press and the local public.  The biggest event is the OC BBQ Festival at the OC Fairgounds on June 9 & 10 at the OC Fairgrounds. It will be 2 days of BBQ cook-off, beer & wine tasting, music, classic car show, and more. We need over 200 volunteers from the community (I'm a coordinator but also a volunteer) to put the event on and if you have any time available it would be greatly appreciated. We'll have Sugar Ray, Lit, and several American Idols performing, over 70 BBQ teams competing, and several local brewers who ALL need help. Last year the event was only one day and we had almost 12,000 people attend. This year we're expecting over 20,000 along with all of the local news media so wear your local shirts and come out and have fun! www.ocbbqfestical.com

 We are also a charity partner with the OC Marathon, so if you're a runner or have friends running they can raise money for Kristie's Foundation. We'll also need a few volunteers the weekend of the race which is May 6"‘. Email me for more info. There are multiple steps but I can help you through them!
